hi my dd is 13 weeks old and during the days and nights - once tired - has always been easy to wrap and put down drowsy
now the last week, she has cried the moment i lay her down to be wraped and now needs me to hold/pat her to sleep
any ideas what this could be? im worried shes uncomfy lying flat?
or is this just a phase/stage - she looks at me in horror sometimes !!! is it possible shes old enuf to know shes going to sleep and is refusing it?

it could be a number of things:

growth spurt, teething (probably unlikely), could be illness.. maybe an ear thing? maybe she is ready to ditch the wrap. could you try her without it? might take her a couple of days to get used to it, but it's worth a shot. i know after a while being restricted while sleeping would feel awful.

i don't think she is refusing sleep.

My boy definitely knew by about 8 weeks that being wrapped meant it was time for sleep and would throw an absolute fit as soon as he saw me lay a wrap out on the bed.

Yes!!! she will be practically asleep in my arms and as soonas she sees the wrap on my bed she cries!!
how do i try her without being wrapped?
does she need a sleep positioner?

my son has done this since about 2months old..he is now 7months and i am starting to drop the wrap. finding it really hard though...its really hard to get him to sleep without it. i think he cries because he knows its bedtime!

oh and if your bubba will fall asleep easily in your arms maybe you might try just putting her into bed and see how she goes?
i HATE wrapping my bub if he would goto sleep without it i would definately not be wrapping him..
