Today I was sitting on the floor in our bedroom folding the washing (it hurts my back to now stand and bend over all the time), anyway I went to move my leg as I was feeling a little uncomfortable when I got this terrible pain in the top back part of my leg, I mean it was the worse sort of pain I have felt. I couldn't move my leg. I yelled out to DH but he was out back and couldn't hear me so I was stuck there for almost half an hour not being able to move because if I did it was so painful until the pain just went away. Has anyone else ever experienced anything like this.I am 36 weeks pregnant

Darl, sounds like round ligament pain... I went to hosp with this a few weeks ago - sooo excruciating! I was stuck in the foetal position in bed and could NOT unfold my legs....
:(

What is that sounds a little scary
No idea what it was but it happened to me a couple of times early on. Astonishingly painful groin pain, I couldn't move. It was in the middle of the night and I was alone at home and I lay there for about 15 minutes until it went away.

Apparently it happens when the ligaments that hold your uterus in place stretch (just as you'd get ligament pain in your legs if you stretched them)... Is this your first? Its meant to be worst in your first, and with your second and such it isn't anywhere near as bad... Again, apparently lol.

Could also be your sciatic nerve? That runs from your lower back to your leg and gets squished by the weight of your bub.
