I am a bit confused can anybody help me. For how many days will and OPK show two lines..is it the few days leading up to ovulation? or just immediately before. The lines are the same colour tody aand yesterday or is the test wrong. I am reading them ater 5 mins and only up to the ten min mark. I test twice a day at 11 and at 4.

Are the 2 lines the same colour? as in is the 2nd line as dark as the control line??

I normally get 2 lines for at least a week before O, but the 2nd line is only as dark as the control line normally the day before O.
And sometimes the day after i still have a faint 2nd line.

Today the line is as dark as the control line but yesterday it was probaly a bit lighter. According to my ovulation calender I am due to o tommorow. I guess I am just in a bit of shock as I have only beenoff the pill for a motnh and didnt expect my body to get into a rythm straight away.

Hi India44

If today the line is as dark as the control line it usually means that ovulation will occur within 24-36 hours! (so you best get some bding in today!)

I used OPKs this month and I had a faint line for a couple of days and then on the third day, the test line was the same darkness as the control line and so according to the test instructions, this meant that I would be ovulating in the next 24-36 hours.
