I just read the ingredients list on the back of the tablets and it says that they contain coffee :confused: Does anyone know anything about this and if it affects babies? Everyone raves about these tablets but when I read 'coffee' on the back I was bit surprised, to say the least.

All I know is they are the only thing that is guaranteed to make my lil man settle when teething.

I have these tablets too and so many mums swear by them too however they really didnt do anything for either of my children. Im currently using bonjela, panadol if really bad...and just got some brauers teething relief as I really want to cut down on using the panadol. I remember seeing that ingredient on them too!

I can't believe I didn't notice that before!
I have tried to do some research on it but can't find anything!
I will keep searching and let you know if I find anything!

I find these tablets do little to help my DS though!
Friends of mine swear by them but I haven't noticed any improvement!

Homeopathy works on the principal of 'like treats like'.....soooo because in large doses coffee makes you restless/sleepless, a minute homeopathic dose will actually treat restlessness...which is often seen with teething. Belladonna, a poisonous plant is also one of the ingredients.

You will see this with all homeopathic treatments...some of the ingredients seem shocking such as Belladonna or deadly nightshade which in large doses causes fever so it is used to TREAT fever. Arsenic is used to treat diarrhoea because it *causes* diarrhoea.
