Anyone recieved the $3000

Hi I was wondering how long it took for families to recieve the $3000 maternity payment. I have heard anything from 3dys - 5 weeks, they have said 21 days.
We are going to buy a fridge freezer and hubby goes back to work next week we were hoping to get it before then.

I have heard the same thing but I think they say 21 days just to give themselves time, I say put it in as soon as you can and hopefully it won't take long. Good luck :)

I put my forms in for the $3000 on a tuesday and was told to give 3 weeks to get it and it was in my bank account on the monday. I guess it depends on how many they are processing at the time.

Mine took 2 days to process. The lady who served me at Centrelink said that it is their policy to tell people it can take up to 21 days, but it often happens much sooner than that. They had someone whose sole responsibility was to process the payment, thus ensuring a speedy delivery!! :D

Mine took just under a week to come through, and about the same time to disappear :(

I think it took around a week for us - and for some bizarre reason we were paid $3042! I don't know where the $42 came from!

They also told me 21 days and I think mine took pretty much 21 days - maybe a day or two over.

We also got an odd amount - I think it is indexed throughout the year as it progresses??

Mine took a week and a half. It depends on your area and how many they have to process. It is just over $3000 and if you are claiming FTB that will come at the same time.

Thanks I have only been waiting 11days but we do live in the fastest growing area
of victoria, so I guess it will be the full 21days.

Ours only took 2-3 days to come in - we were pleasantly surprised. Now we can finish paying all those dreadful medical bills!
