I am wondering if anyone is in a similar situation or if they know of anything that can help me.

Prior to falling pregnant with my DS my cycle was a regular 28 days. Since having #1 10 months ago my cycle has returned but it has varied between 28 and 35 days. I have lost my signs and symptoms of my period and have no idea when i ovulate even though i have been doing my temps, they have been all over the place.

My husband an i are wanting to ttc #2 and we started this cycle. My issue is i'm still waiting for my period and it's day 41 i have performed several HPT all of which were negative.

I've had PMS on and off for the past 3 weeks and it's sending me crazy. Is there a natural way to regulate my cycle or induce my period?
I am at the point where i just want my period.

Hi Frizzy83,

You are definitely suffering from post lactation hormonal imbalance. As a naturopath I can definitely say this is generally quite a simple situation to resolve. It may take 2-4 cycles on average to get things back to normal but the results are pretty reliable.

Find a naturopath in your area (or me online if you are not in Sydney), ideally someone who specialises in women’s health and fertility and who is well versed in treating women for similar complaints.

Don’t even try to self manage or prescribe—you might just end up delaying things further as a result and becoming anxious and/or frustrated unnecessarily.

I hope this helps!

Let me know if you have any further questions.
