Ok so I ordered my trial pack of Green Kids now I am wondering what on earth do I do....do u place a liner in the nappy so if they do a poo you can just throw that out? Or do you wash the nappy as soon as they do one? What do you wash your cloth nappies in? Do you have a nappy bucket with soaking something in it until you wash? Help me please....I know these are silly questions but just have to ask...

I use a flushable disposable liner, and it just goes down the loo.

I keep my nappies in a sealed bucket (dry pailing) until they are to be washed, then I just do a hot wash with my normal detergent. I then hang them on the line to dry. We have no nappy rash problems, and no stained nappied, either.

There are many other threads in this section on Dry Pailing, have a look.

I don't bother with disposable liners. Ordinarily I would use the Little Squirt to get the poo into the toilet but at the moment (still waiting on DH to move it from our old house) I use toilet paper to get most of the solids off. I then take the insert out and throw into the dry nappy bucket. No soaking or anything because it will damage the PUL. Wash with the rest of the nappies as normal.

Nope, just flush the poo, then rinse the nappy & chuck in a dry bucket (I use a bullet bin)

Or do you wash the nappy as soon as they do one?
see above

What do you wash your cloth nappies in?
]B]Put in machine on rinse only cycle then Warm machine wash with 1/4 of the recommended washing powder. I wash every 3 days[/B]

Do you have a nappy bucket with soaking something in it until you wash?
No soaking here, just dry pail in a bullet bin, then wash once the bin is full

Help me please....I know these are silly questions but just have to ask
No silly questions, most of us have asked these kind of questions before the addiction took hold
