View Full Version : Early pregnancy signs? (TMI alert)

Hi, I'm a newbie here, and am on my second month TTC my 1st child.

I have a TMI kind of question, and was hoping that someone would take pity on my blushes and tell me if this can be a sign of early preg, or whether I'm just imagining symptoms because I'm so keen to be pregnant.

Okay - I ov'd on day 16, today is 9 days PO, and I have a 28 day cycle. For the last 3 days, I've been having a sensation like my AF has started - almost like a 'trickling' feeling, but when I check there's no discharge and no blood.

I've taken 2 early 'dipstick' pregnancy tests, which have been very, very negative, which I wasn't suprised about.

My boobs are achey, but they always are pre-AF. No signs of any infections 'down there'. In fact, nothing else feels any different, except for this constant 'trickling' feeling.

Does anyone have any experience of this? Is it just my body reacting to my wishful thinking, or is it a sign of early pregnancy?

Thank you very much! :)

Tizzi

Hi, I am new to the forum also! It is really hard to say. The sore breast could be a sign but, could also be pms. Some women have described this and have been pregnant , so who knows. Best thing to so is wait to miss your period and then take a test.:fingerscrossed:

I can only say that from about half way through my lutal phase, I have had a discharge like that, its very clear, and hardly visible, but its there, and yes, feels like something is running out....

With my first pregnancy I was running to the toilet all the time with a pack of pads in hand sure that my period was starting - but it never did.

In my experience early pregnancy felt very much like PMS.

There is no way to know if you are pregnant from symptoms - you need to do a hpt.

:fingerscrossed: good luck - hope it come up +

Hi Tizzi,

I agree with Bubluv above, PMS and Early preg sympts are sometimes very very similar: the best thing to do is to wait it out and take a HTP in a couple of days. From experience, I'd say try as much as possible not to take it too early, since you may accumulate negatives just because it was too early to test, not to mention the stress and dissapointment.

As for the leaky feeling, it is So Not TMI; this is the place;)
I did not experience it as early as you are. I started experiencing a leaky feeling yesterday, at 17 DPO and a little bit today. And each time I find a small amount creamy cervical fluid.

I know the 2WW is horrible, but do hang on there, you'll get your answer soon, and I hope it's a BFP!
Lots of Baby Dust to you :)

I had that leakiy feeling when pregnant with DD. I had to keep going to the loo to check that AF hadn't arrived. That's what it felt like.

:fingerscrossed: for you Tizzie

Thank you all so much for your replies! It's been reassuring to hear that others have experienced this trickling sensation, and been lovely to have your support during the (seemingly endless) 2WW! :)

AF is now due to start tomorrow, so I'll wait and see what happens! I have a horrible feeling now that this month is not my month, but I'm crossing my fingers until I get definite proof.

:fingerscrossed: for everyone in the 2WW!

Thank you to everyone who gave advice. Unfortunately, AF has already found me this month, so there go my hopes of an April baby.

Ah well, on to next month...:)
