I was expecting it, I remembered how much DD's three-month growth spurt SUCKED and how miserable she was for basically weeks afterwards. It totally changed her behaviour right up until the day she went on solids.

Anyway, for the last two nights DS (12 wks 3 days) has been really unsettled during the night, to the point of not even having his ONE `long' sleep of about four hours in the evening.

Then, he's really super fussy. He is feeding every 45 minutes or so but only for about three or four minutes. So, he doesn't seem extra hungry at all, and is very, very fussy on the boob. He's pooing every hour or so (not necessarily that unusual for him haha), and is really irritable, cranky, easily upset, and has only had three 20-minute naps today.

He is the mellowest, most laid back, placid baby usually and the poor little fella has spent much of today screaming.

Growth spurt, yes?

Sounds like it. Zav was exactly the same at 12 weeks. Went from a quiet sleepy bub, to tantrum chucking hyper bub overnight :(

2 Hour day naps turned into 20 minute catnaps and the first nightsleep turned from 4 hours to 2 hours max. and every hour after that.
In the following 3 weeks he's gained 1kg and 5cm.
Im actually going to get him measured tomorrow again as he'll be almost 16 weeks.
Im quite sure he wouldn't have grown that much in the last week as he's been far more settled. So my guess he's over this growth spurt. Now Im just getting ready for his next one in a few weeks time :rolleyes:

George has always been a healthy eater .. to say the least! :D

He was 3.280kg at birth, and at 10 weeks was 6.1kg, and had grown 12cm in length. He's 6.3kg now. Ridiculous. We call him Mr Fattle McFatty Fat Pants. Hahahahaaa.

Yup Zavier was 3.03kg at birth and at 12 weeks he was 6.4kg. Not bad for a premmie :D Last week at 15 weeks he was 7.5kg :rolleyes:

He went from 49cm to 66cm in 15 weeks as well. He's not really chubby chubby, but he's getting there :p

I am starting to call him fatso in a loving and funny voice. Its not like I mean it in a bad way. I keep saying "Fatso! Yes your mum called you a fatso, what are you going to do about it?" He just cracks up laughing :D

Yeah, sucky... I think Bella might be going through another one at 15 1/2 weeks though, or starting to teethe!!!! Not happy :mad:

Nooooooo! No no no no! Zav is 15.5 weeks too and I really cant handle another growth spurt already! He just finished a 3 week growth spurt last week :(

Haha - we were saying the other day that if we don't stop calling him FatMandoo or Chubble Booboscope or other similar lovelies he's going to grow up with a complex!

But ..... he IS a fattle. And it's so cuuuuuuuuuuuuute!
