Hi Yue Min
Welcome to Bubhub. I am sorry that I cannot help you at the moment. But I do hope that your Angel comes along soon!
In the meantime, why not try posting in the "Egg Donor Needed" area. You will find other ladies in the same boat as you, and if a Donor is looking for someone to donate to, she could find there more easily.
Fingers crossed that you get your wish :fingerscrossed:

Hi Yue Min Che and welcome to Bubhub. Your post was moved because the "Egg Donation Issues" section is more for general discussion and this "Egg Donor Needed" area is where people who are looking for an Egg Donor can advertise.
I am one of the lucky people who has found a donor via Bubhub. We placed our ad here and a few weeks later had some responses. We wanted to get to know the donor before we decided so we chatted on the phone for a few weeks and then met for lunch. We get along very well and are looking foward to doing our cycle together later in the year.
It might help if you write an ad that tells potential donors a bit more about you and your situation. How long have you tried for a child? Do you have a partner/husband? What kind of things do you like? What kind of life could you offer a child? etc. Maybe reading some of the ads that have already been written will help you. It is difficult to put all your personal feelings into words, but the right donor might just be out there looking for someone just like you.
Good luck with finding a donor, I hope you are as fortunate as I have been.

Hey Yue
I agree with BabyD - maybe write an ad that lets everyone know about you and your DH, in particular those details you are prepared to share about your lives..this gives potential donors some idea of what you are like.

Hi Yue Min
You have two threads in the egg donor needed section. This is where we put all the egg donor ads. They both have a number of replies, but we ask potential egg donors to NOT reply in the open forum, they should contact you via PM if they are interested in exploring egg donation with you. We do this in order not to disappoint other people who are looking for an egg donor.
You have four threads in the egg donation issues section, including the one with no replies. This section is for everything else ED related that are not ads for donors. Don't feel like no-one reads a thread, just because they do not post, often ppl have heard what you have to say, but have nothing useful to add. Also some of our more experienced ED ppl only drop in every few days or once a week, so it might take time for them to catch up with you. They always have helpful advice.
Cheers

Hi Yue Min
I do sympathize with your situation as it is not an easy task to find a Chinese donor. However part of the problem may be trying to connect with a potential donor when also dealing with English as a second language, which I can also sympathize with as the reverse applys to me - I am Asian but I can't speak Chinese very well at all!!
Anyway, a couple of suggestions - do you have a friend who can help you with your English posts on Bubhub and AED? Can your son speak English well? Perhaps he could help you? Have you thought of placing ads in the various community newspapers and/or up on noticeboards in Chinatown? My IM had her ad translated into Chinese and placed in the Chinese papers, as well as pamphlets to be distributed by her acupuncturist. Perhaps you could try that?
Cheers
