Hormone rash - anything u can do?

My 3 week old little girl has developed an awful rash all over her face neck and ears which im told is hormone rash. She doesnt seem too bothered by it but her face is extremely red and some of the "zits" she has are becoming yellow and crusty. Is there anything I can do for her or is it just matter of waiting for it to clear up?

Just a matter of waiting for it to clear up unfortunately. DD had it too, some days were worse than others. It went after a few weeks but my gp told me it could last months.

It is completely normal, both my girls had it and it cleared up on its own. It looks awful, but it won't last long.

I've been told by a nurse to put sorbolene on it but now it just looks really greasy. It also has now started spreading to her chest .... poor thing
