Changing to cows milk

I have just changed my 12 1/2 month old daughters formula bottles to cows milk. She drinks it without any problems.

She had a bad case of Gastro a couple of weeks ago and now seems fine...except she still has runny poo. It is not green but is runny all the timw. I thought it was still the gastro but she seems over that now. I am wondering if it is the change in milk?

did any other bubs have this problem or other problems when changing from formula to cows milk?

I changed Bec from formula to cows milk about 3wks ago and her poos haven't been anything out of the ordinary - Sorry.

But everybaby is different I guess.

Hi Renee

when we changed DS over from Formula to cows Milk (he weaned himself off the formula) we started using the UHT Milk - and he loves it. We can see a difference when we have to buy "normal" milk, so now we just get the UHT in bulk.

Maybe worth a try?

You could try watering the milk down for a few days, then slowly add less water til she is drinking straight milk again. That might help.
