I have just changed my 12 1/2 month old daughters formula bottles to cows milk. She drinks it without any problems.

She had a bad case of Gastro a couple of weeks ago and now seems fine...except she still has runny poo. It is not green but is runny all the timw. I thought it was still the gastro but she seems over that now. I am wondering if it is the change in milk?

did any other bubs have this problem or other problems when changing from formula tocows milk?

it can take a few weeks to return to normal health after gastro. my ds was the same after having gastro with his poo and the gp said to come back in a week if it was still the same and he got some tests done to see if it was the gastro bug or a new virus and ds came back with the all clear and then he ahd to be tested for lactose intolerance (which he has). if you are worried i would go to the gp and see what they say :)

You could try going back to formula for a while and see if that makes a difference, then once everything is back to normal try the cows milk again. You could also try giving cows milk watered down (50/50) when you reintroduce it.

I know you can still have runny poo's/diaroha(sp?) anywhere from 3days to 2 weeks after gastro is first diagnosed. Its nasty business.
