Which pediatricians are decent at the Lyell Mcewin

Im due to give birth at Lyell Mcewin next month and im wondering what pediatricians are good there and does anyone know anything about them. I don't want to just trust my little boy with anyone.

I was in a private hospital and I didn't really get to choose my paediatrician.........I was just kind of assigned one as I suppose it was whoever was there for when I had to have an emergency C-section. If you are a public patient at the Lyell Mac then I imagine you'll be assigned one too.........although I don't suppose there is anything stopping you from changing paed's down the track........you will just need a referral from your GP to go see them. My sister is very fond of Dr Rick Power or Powers who's a paediatrician........not sure where he consults though.

Hugh had Dr Power, he was pretty good, no complaints from us, pretty down to earth.
We were at Burnside Hosp at the time and he was just "given" to us by the hosp. Sorry I sent his account off to Medicare so I can't give you his contact details if you wanted to enquire where he consults. Sure it'd be in white pages though.

If you are a private patient you will be able to pick your paed. Dr Chris Barnett is fabulous but I don't think he goes to Lyell McEwin. Good luck:D

I had Liv at the NECH & we were also assigned a paed, we had Dr Anthony Israel & found him to be fantastic :yes: Good luck:)
