View Full Version : Anyone want to sell 1 or 2 Greens Nappies?

Hi all,

I'm slowly working out what system I want to go with full time. I'm currently using some BB Hemp and some Pea Pods. I know that I won't be using Pea Pods full time but I just wanted to have a few in my stash for emergencies (but I'm not unhappy with their performance - they're quite a good nappy for the price). And I think I'd rather go with BB Bamboo rather than the Hemp, purely for the softenss factor.

Anyhoo - I'll get to the point now, lol. The other nappy that I would like to trial is a Greenkids stuffable. I was wondering if anyone had 1 or 2 Greens Anytimes that they would like to sell me. I'm quite happy to purchase them from Greens, but thought I'd find out first if any BHubber had some they wanted to get rid of.

Next question.... when using Greens do you use the hemparoo or has anyone tried the BB bamboo prefolds inside the Greens? I thought about giving the BB bamboo prefolds a go because isn't bamboo supposed to be more absorbent than hemp? Also, the microfibre inserts on the greens site are about $6.50 and consist of 3 layers of microfibre. The microfibre inserts on the Wee Wuns website are around $3.50 and also consist of 3 layers. I currently have 3 of the Wee Wuns microfibre inserts to use with the Pea Pods (I haven't used the inserts yet though) - do you know if there is any difference in absorbency between the two brands of inserts?

I'd also be interested to hear what else you stuff you Green's with that you have found very effective. DS is 1, is quite large for his age and is an extremely heavy wetter.

Thanks for listening to me drone on again! Your help is always greatly appreciated :hugs:

Did you manage to get any Greens pocket nappies?

Nope. That's cool though - I'll just buy one off their site. Just not sure whether to try stuffing it with their hemparoo or with the BabyBeehinds Bamboo prefold. Decisions, decisions, lol.

On ozebaby they have a new hourglass shaped insert, but it doesnt have as many layers of hemp as the hemparoo when folded but it would be a little trimmer.
I use the hemparoos and they are good but can be a little bulky.
Im tossing up whether to sell some of my greens as I am moving more toward the fitted with cover system. Decisions decisions!!

Wooo that was a quick reply !!!
The only "boy colour" ones I have are red, light blue and a starfish one and are in excellent condition.
Not sure if your little man would look any good in pink or purple :D
Im still tossing up whether to sell.....need to raise some funds for some other nappies.
I would also be looking at selling them with the hemparoos ........how much to sell them for???? too many decisions.

I'm also after a greens anytimes.
Anyone wanting to sell.. any colour is fine.

I bought a greens anytimes this week and am going to make my own nappies.
Just bought enought PUL to make about 42 nappies. Still have to track down the microfleece or suedecloth.

I need the greens so I can unpick it and use it as a template.

Hey, if anyone is planning on copying the pattern of a pre existing nappy, please contact the manufacturer and just ask them if it's okay. Usually for your own use they won't mind, but it's a nice ettiquette to follow. Don't forget that most of these nappies are covered by intellectual property copyright and by copying them in any way, shape or form you will be infringing upon that copyright.

You can buy patterns from many of the WAHM's too.
