Hi all

I have been off the pill for a month now. And I plan to come off the antidepressants some time this month (they are not good for bub apparantly).

I was on the pill for 12 years, so have no idea how long I will take to get fertile. Any ideas on how to tell if I am ovulating?
I have had one period since coming off the pill and really sore nipples about 10 days after that. Still no idea if I am ovulating though...

i just wonted to add something about the antidepressants,, some are bad to take when you are pg however i had to change mine to one that i could take when i was pg cant remember the name of it, i had to be drug free for 14days b4 i could start the new antidepressants it was the longest 14 days of my life,, just keep in mind that if you do need them there are safe ones you can take:thumbsup:

good luck with getting pg:fingerscrossed:

Hello. It took me 3 cycles after coming off the pill to conceive. I started charting on my last cycle and I worked out when I had ovulated and became pregnant too that cycle. I was told by my obstetrician that you can become pregnant the first month after coming off the pill, however. I found charting your temperature a good way to tell if you have ovulated. Visit www.fertilityfriend.com to learn more about charting your temps. You can record all of your data on here too.

If I was you, I wouldn't start trying to conceive until you have come off the antidepressants as it can be a bit of a shock to the system. I know it can take a couple of months to wean off the tablets. Perhaps talk to your doctor about what you should do because you will need to wean off the tablets under their guidance. All the best  .
