it is a little harder to tell because it's not just the 3 lines, as the bub is older, there is more padding around the area so to speak lol.

Thats interesting, ive been told by 3 professional tech's thats its a boy and that this shot is of scrotum squished in the middle there... are you a professional ??

I'm no professional, just going by what my dd's and ds's ultrasounds looked like. Ds was really obvious, and looked nothing like that.

Yes i will for sure, i dont mind either way (kinda got my hopes up for a boy tho now ive been told it so many times) guess thats why i got all defensive when u said GIRL, im very sorry!! hormones LOL... :laughing:

Wow I've never seen an ultrasound like this before (I don't have kids yet) but I would think that the professional would be accurate seen as though bubs has given them such a great shot of their bottom! :laughing:

i guess cos you read sooo many horror stories on here, and my best friend had numerous ultrasounds with her DS and was told GIRL GIRL GIRL GIRL GIRL the whole 40 weeks and then a baby BOY popped out:laughing: im a very paranoid person and pregnancy hormones are making me INSANE!!:confused:

We had a potty shot of my daughter on her ultrasound and it was super obvious - we didn't need to be looking for any '3 lines' thing it was waaaaaaaay obvious, lol. Anyway I say it's a boy and see it how it's drawn on the second pic - what was labelled as girl in the first one, I see as a tucked under leg/foot, and that it's a boy.

thats what i thought too but i posted my video of my scan on another site and now everyone is saying that they see labia 100%,,,, im totally confused now lol oh well looks like im back to buying white baby wondersuits :confused:

:detective: I think it could go either way and if your not having anymore scans this pregnancy maybe buy colors that go both ways.

I could see absolutely that our DS was a boy, I could see the "part" pointing off his body at our scan at 24 weeks :p

But we also had a 4D scan done at 28 weeks and could see again that he surely was a boy!

I know of a couple just this week that were told they were having a boy at their u/s and suprise! they had a little girl.

To be honest I am not sure. It could be the cord. I dont remember being able to see the male parts from a profile shot.

I have a baby boy, and we couldnt see anything from a profile shot but it looks to me like the bottom angle shot is a boy for sure...the "third leg" is a give away...
I was the same as you, even after being told by 3 different sonographers I was researching youtube and the sorts contantly looking for a similar image to clarify!

I wish I could figure out how to upload a pic! my sons scan is very much the same- and he is born so we know its right!
