Hi

We are wanting to take our two girls (they will almost ages 1 and 2) to the UK for the first time this Christmas coming. We have had a look at some flights online but so far everything we have found has been really expensive. Has anyone found any cheap flights online or in any travel agents? Were on the Gold coast so ideally we need to fly from Brisbane to Manchester and Im guessing the fewer stops the better it will be...has anyone found out any different?

Any advice/travel tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks x

I generally find I want that flight to be one of the best priced sites, google them and they'll come up.

Also, I recommend getting a flight that only stops at Dubai, seems to make the flight seem shorter than the other stops.

Might be worth investing in a couple of the aviation buckles too, can't quiet remember there name but I'm sure someone here can help you with that.

I know this is quite an old post, so maybe you have already booked your flights. I have worked in the Travel Industry for years and also fly to Manchester when I go home so know the route well. As far as I know only Emirates, Etihad and Singapore Airlines fly into Man without going via London, so I always check these airlines first of all as it saves so much hassle.
Xmas is obviously one of the most expensive time to fly and people book the seats 12 months in advance to get the best deals for this time, there are definately no bargains to be had round this time, the only way to make it cheaper is to fly slightly outside the peak times which is approx before 10th Dec and then after late Jan. Good luck searching.
