Mum's Group in Newcastle

Hello all you Mum's in Newcastle!!!
I have recently moved down here from Brisbane and have left my beloved Mother's Group....:no:
My 10 month old daughter is lonely and needs some friends, so I am hoping that some of you ladies out there would be willing to take on another Mum and Bub into your Mum's Group or play group. We live pretty central to Newcastle and would really love to meet any Mum's with babies around the same age. Or not the same age..any Mums & Bubs would be great!!!:ecomcity:
I am a very easy going person and my daughter has loads of personality, so touch base if you think we can fit into one of your groups. Have searched high and low on google for 'Mother's groups' and 'community centres' and 'babies groups'...:hair:but to no avail. Playgroup Australia locations are full in our area too. So if there are any groups or Mum's out there that would like a gorgeous little friend for their babies....let me know. Thanks :flowerz::smiliedance::sunshine:

I am in Newcastle too and I have an 18 month old who gets very bored (or mummy does :rolleyes:) when her big sisters are at school and preschool!

We would love to attach ourselves to a mummy group too :D

Thanks Codswallop, I tried to search on 'newcastle bubhub mummies' on facebook but nothing came up. I did find the love bub hub page though, are you on there? :flowerz:

yay! i have sent a request on facebook to join.. . im 24 from Cardiff with a three month old and would like to attend a meeting to get to know mothers with babies around my babys age or my age .. very excited about this =) =) as there are things i need to discuss with mothers .. none of my friends are parents and i would enjoy making some friends that are, even though the thought of showing up to one of these things is a bit nerve wracking(thinking everyone knows everyone else and im the odd one out.. but im ready to take that step!) :smiliedance:

hi guys, i dont get on BH alot any more, i just dont have the time but im on face book ever day ( or close enough)
please join us on our face book page as that is checked every few days at least. as for organising a meet up, well that is simple, just put up on the wall what you want to do and when and any one who is free that day will respond!
we also try for regular meets but they have been up in the year a bit over the last few months with many of our older members being busy with work/uni or having new babies!
when you join we ask that you tell us a little about your selves, like where you heard about the group, where you live, your bub hub name or the name of the friend who told you about us and the ages of your kids.
hopefully we will all get to meet up soon, i have been waiting to get to the beach but have not managed it yet but i do get to wallsend pool most weeks more then once.

Hi, does anyone know of a mothers group in Merewether or Cooks Hill. I am 31 and have a 3 month old boy. I'm looking to join a group or make a group if anyone is interested. I'm loving motherhood, though finding life very different to the working life I am used to! Would love to catch up with other mothers for a weekly/fortnightly mums&bubs group...maybe a coffee too. Happy for visits at Parks/Beach etc.
