DD1 & DS1 can no longer share a room. It has been well over 12months now, and they continually wake each other up, play, fight and/or giggle until midnight some nights. Everyone said they would get used to it, then they needed more severe punishments or better rewards....nothing has worked. NOW I am splitting them up. This however involves a half house re-arrange!
DS1's bed will be shifter into my study, which will be shifted into the toy room, the toys will be shifted to our front lounge room which now has the kiddie friendly cabinet and old lounge in it, the folding and my tupperware kit. The folding and tupperware will me moved into the toyroom with the other stuff from my study! Then we need to buy an extra wide kiddie gate to keep them all out of my new study as it has no door!
EEK!!! what a task! I am hoping to get it done over the next week - while DH is working! The sooner it is done, the sooner my sanity might return! Please wish me luck! If I get adventurous I might even paint over DD1's murals in my new study with a feature wall - bright sunny yellow maybe??
