First movements with 2nd baby.

I'm now 14w3d pregnant with my second baby and am just wanting to know when people first felt movement (or that funny bubbly/wavy/butterfly feeling - for want of a better description!!!) with their second baby. I didn't feel movement with my little girl until fter my 19 week scan, but people tell me you can often feel baby no.2 earlier. I'm so keen to feel those first movements!!!

:wave: im 17wks and havent really felt anything yet. Although the past week ive sorta had what i thought was stomach muscle twitches, but im not sure if it was bub.

ive been feelin really off today and they seem to have stopped so maybe they were just muscle twitches lol

this is bub #2, but i cant remember when i felt my first move, it was 6 years ago :laughing:

I'm 27wks preg with #2 and I started feeling those butterfly type movements from about 14weeks, although its hard to determine if it was that or gas!! I was getting a few definite kicks by 16wks and he hasn't stopped since! I thought this was odd as I didn't feel any movement at all until 19wks with ds1 and no definite kicks until well over 21wks, but then again I was 20kg heavier while preg with him.

With DD1 I first felt movement at 19weeks, 4 days.

With DD2 it was much earlier - 16 weeks, 2 days.

I think you're more aware of what the movement feels like.

With this pregnancy (my second) I felt some taps at 10 weeks :) Very early but my placenta is at the back!

With my DS I was feeling them from 16 weeks

I felt them with DS1 at about 17 weeks, and with this one at 14 weeks.

It was the muscle twitching feeling for me with both. At first I wasn't sure, but when the twitching keeps going for a few days, I just new thats what it was for sure. Especially 2nd time around, when you know what to look for more.

Was definite kicks by 16 weeks, and he just hasn't stopped. Even hasn't slowed down in the 3rd trimester, and I've only got 5&1/2 weeks to go, and he still wriggles non-stop! :laughing:

i have been feeling flutters since 14 weeks and now movements at 17 they are certainly hard not to miss the second time round for me can't remember when with the first tho is wasn't that long ago lol

My 1st bub was 14.5wks, my 2nd bub was 12wks and this bub was 11wks...:0)

First bub was after 20 weeks, this time round it started at 14 weeks, big kicks by 16 weeks.

With my first DD I didn't feel any movement until the night before my 19 week scan. This time around it was about 13 weeks. I thought I was imagining it :) But my placenta was at the front last time, and at the back this time.
