Iam unsure what day it is that 'easter bunny' is supposed to leave the eggs :laughing:

Is it Easter FRI, SAT , SUN OR MON.

i thought it was sunday??

Yep, it is Sunday, but try telling my DH that - he ripped into his last night because he needed a choccy fix!

:laughing: Too funny! Yep, Good Friday is for hot cross buns, Saturday is when most people have a bbq and drink lots of beer and Sunday is egg day.

We dont do eggs but do give a small present but they wont be here till tuesday.

:yes: I leave the camping til Tuesday because that way the roads aren't as busy so we are going from Tuesday to Friday and are the only ones booked into that caravan park :D It's fully booked out, all camp sites, caravans and cabins til Monday then the last of those people are leaving on Tuesday and we'll get there late Tuesday. Suits us! Means if there's bad weather there will be cabins to go to instead of tents.

Oops I forgot the buns this year too lol. Meh. I made homemade pizza before, base and all, yumm :D

In our house we usually do a big egg hunt on Friday and a clue based trail on Sunday.

Our kids are good with knowing that eating too much junk all at once will make them feel sick and we are big believers in letting them learn stuff for themselves so we give them free reign of egg consumption.

Haha , my 3 stepsons haven't learned that yet , every time 8YO SS goes to a party he scoffs soooo much food in and he ignores our warnings of '' you'll end up being sick'' and everytime we get home he ends up lying on the couch with a spew bucket , white as ghost , feeling sorry for himself :laughing:

I remember when I was little, getting given eggs on Friday but having to wait until Sunday to eat them.
