I don't really have prices but just watch out for some companies that will say they'll get the stuff right to your door over there and then when u r over there you get told you have to pick the stuff up from the depot

We moved Bne Wgtn a couple of years ago, full service cost $8000 door to door for a 'hi-top' (extra high) 20 ft container, fully packed etc. Plus maf inspection charges NZ end which we weren't expecting so were annoyed with.
But how long is a piece of string, depends how much stuff you have. My advice is to get 3 quotes from different companies and make a decision from that, also the containers are generally 20 or 40 foot, if you are just over a 20 foot then try and reduce your stuff to fit in that, because the cost jump to the next size is huge.
Nelson is lovely, I am sure your family will be happy there and if it gives your family the help you need that's awesome.
Oh... just to add it took around 10 weeks door to door, should have been 6 but it never left on the ship it was supposed to (grrr!)
