View Full Version : Just need to whinge....

I am almost 41 weeks and still waiting for number 2 to arrive. Have struggled with body image and eating issues all my life and am so over feeling this enormous. To make matters worse, my sacro-iliac joints have packed it in so I can't even walk. I am housebound and feel like the size of a house and just eating to pass time- so getting bigger every day.

As I said, this is seriously just a whinge. I am so down about myself right now, that I thought that if I wrote down and shared my feelings it would help. It sort of has, because I know there is an end-point. I need to tell that stupid negative voice inside me to shut-up and count my blessings.

Thanks for listening.

I don't have anything much to say, but wanted to show my support. :) Very little time left!

Totally know where you're at! Although I wasn't on bed rest like you I felt like I was enormous and when I was about 7 months pregnant people would ask "when are you due?" and I'd say that I have 8 weeks to go they would all say that I looked like I was about to pop.

I felt awful, hated my body and how I looked. It took me quite a few months to get back into a reasonable shape and it all happens in time.

I'm sure you're growing tummy is beautiful and just think about what you're doing, you're making a miracle!! :hugs:

Same here!! I am currently 30wks preg and when I tell people I have 10wks left they looked so shocked! Come on people, there are certain things you just shouldn't say to a heavily pregnant woman!! I'm only 156cm tall so there really isn't anywhere for this baby to go but "out". I'm sure your just feel "fed up" with it all, but the light at the end of the tunnel is very close for you. Try and stay positive and visualise your perfect little bubba in your arms. All the best!
