Hi everyone,
I took my DS to the Drs yesterday to have his 6 month needles and while we were there the GP had a look at him just to make sure he was going Ok with everything as she usually does when we go there. Last time we went she mentioned that his fontonelle (sp?) was possibly a bit larger than usual and siad she would monitor it each visit. She checked it again this time and also measured his head circumference and said again that she was a little concerned about it. Apparantly his head circumference is in the 99th percentile In the end, we were referred to a paed to check it out just to make sure everything was OK. She was really really nice and even said that her own son had a similar problem and she said everything she could not to worry me. To be honest, i had never really noticed that he had a larger than usual head until she mentioned it and the more I think about it the more I am worrying.
Has anyone else experienced this with their little ones or heard of anyone who has? Im not sure what to expect or what the possible problems associated with this could be?
Thanks
