Photoshop Elements 8 Question

Hi All,

Probably a really silly question for most but I am at work today and the only photo program on this stupid computre is PS Elements 8 (my home comp I use a different program)

Is anyone able to give me a quick run down of how to do the layering with Black & White with a splash of colour??

I know prob. a hard question to answer in a post and Photo shop is not ment to be easy to use but ANY help would be great.

I have only one photo left to edit before sending proofs off and this program is doing my head in :hair:

1. Duplicate the layer

Image --> Duplicate

2. Make the top layer black and white

[make sure the top layer is selected]

Image --> Adjustments --> Black and white

3. Use the Eraser to erase the bits you want as colour. (eg. reveal the bottom colour layer)
