Hi and thanks Karizma.:)

Hi JR'SMUM,
How are you today?
My dd goes to a preschool in Bangor 2 days a week and sometimes I do our shopping in Menai so we are over that way frequently.
Does your eldest go to preschool?
If you have msn messenger, feel free to add me if you feel like chatting.
Take care and have a nice day.:)

Hi

I'm in Bangor. I tried to organise a play date at Woronora recently, but the thread was a flop. Maybe we can all organise something. Funtime for Kids at Menai is a fantastic option.

I think it's a great idea that we all try to meet up! We sutherland mums should stick together - there does not seem to be too many of us on bubhub???

Hi Everyone,

I am a mum that is from Sutherland area too, I have 2 boys, aged 4 and 2 1/2 and another baby on the way, and my friend and I have just started our own play group / mothers group, we have about 6 of us at the moment that meet up each Thursday but will soon be doing it over 2 days Thursdays and Fridays, as we have more that want to join that cant do a Thursday.

We have just been meeting at each others houses, or at play centres, mcdonalds or the park, and we each bring some food and have a chat and the kids play we are enjoying it so much.

We decided to start our own, as we didnt like going to a playgroup and feel like we are too old or too young etc, so ours does not discriminate and we are looking to expand it as we get bigger and get a venue to hold it each week. We will be doing outings every couple of months to the beach , zoo etc and we will be having mummies nights out once a month.

Hopefully once we get a venue, we can start getting some exciting things to happen there, like a fireman to visit the kids, or some things like that.

If anyone is interested in joining us on a thursday or a friday then you can email me (Anita) or Donia on: shirekids@hotmail.com for more information on our next weeks meet up.

Just let us know what day would be better for you out of Thursday and Friday etc.

Hope to hear from some of you mums out there soon.

Anita

Hi,

I am glad you liked my idea, we are just getting started, we have big ideas for our group, we have applied to get a venue so hopefully that will happen soon.

Last week we just went to Fun Time at Menai it was lots of fun, we have been to houses, parks, mcdonalds places like that, I really hope that some of you will be interested and we can get it happening a bit more.

I just love meeting new people, and its great for the kids, we have mostly kids between 18 months, and 4 a few 3 year olds etc, but we have 2 mums that are joining that have babies that are only 3 - 6 months. And I am due to have a baby in February so it is exciting.

We are mostly mums around 24, 26 and 27 but we are not worried about age, I can chat easily to a mum in her teens as much as I can to my age or someone in there 40's we just want to chat and get out of the house lol.

We are hoping to arrange mummies nights out once a month so we can all go out to dinner, or bowling, or a movie, or a pub somewhere etc things like that, we are open to suggestions.

Hope to hear from some of you soon.

Anita

Oh Sharon,

I forgot to say to you, you do not have to be a mum already to join us, you are welcome to come along now, I can chat to you about being pregnant as you are due in at the end of the year and I am due in Feb.

If you are still working I understand, if you want to join us when you stop that is fine, and if you still want to come to our mummies nights out I can let you know when they are etc.

You can email me on shirekids@hotmail.com

Talk to you soon.

Anita

 Emmy.................my bubba is due 13th November according to LMP and the midife but the lady that did my ultrasounds thinks it's 16th November. But either day is fine. It's not like I have a plane to catch

We're going for 4D scans this week and i'm so excited about it too. The place is Early Image in Alexandria. They sound like lovely people and I can't wait to see the definate details of bubba.

Anita..........Yes I am still working, I will be finishing in about 8 weeks though (thank god). It will be good to catch up. I have stored your email address.

I was reading a thread earlier about a lady's DH who saw another lady with the buhub ribbons on her pram. I have these ribbons ready to go on my pram, so maybe one day we will see more shirey's with bubhub ribbons on around the place.

Hi All you Sutherland / Shire Area Mums,

I just wanted to let you all know my little group has really taken off, and we have been having some really good meetups, our kids have grown in numbers and we now have mums with kids ranging from 3 months to 4 years.

If anyone is interested in having a look at the MSN group page we have set up which has pics of the kids at our meetups and a few other cool things then the site is: http://groups.msn.com/ShireKidsPlayTime also if you want more info on where our next meetup will be and you want to join us, then the email address is shirekids@hotmail.com

Anyway enough about that, I hope you are well, as for me this is my third pregnancy due in Feb and I will be 18 weeks this week and I have my ultrasound next week and I am getting very excited. Its funny because I asked my boys tonight if this baby was going to be a girl or a boy and one of them said a boy and the other said a girl it was funny to see what they thought.

When we heard the babies heartbeat I asked them what they thought of that and they said that the baby was crying because it couldnt have any lollies, the things they say.

Anyway take care all of you.

Anita :)
