Just wanted to spread the GREAT news my little man is walking finally!!!!
He started about 6 days ago , his 13 months and has been crawling since he was five months so we were expecting him to continue the tradition of walking by 9 months just like me and my siblings.

Yes yes I know every child develops at their own pace and I totally agree, but its just soooo exciting to see how much his grown from when he arrived such a short time ago.....It makes me all teary just thinking my little baby turning into a toddler :eek: where has my baby gone.....

I've even had people ask me when I'm going to start toilet training him!

I am interested to hear at what age other bubs started walking and what age they started toileting?

thanks

Very Proud Mamma :D

Hi orlandosmum;

First congrats on your little man walking, an incredible milestone one of many he will achieve. As for me

I have 2 girls my eldest walked at 8 1/2 months (she did everything early) and toilet trained herself (refused to wear nappies) at 15 months, she never had any wet beds and only a couple of acccidents (lucky me :D ). My youngest daughters legs haemmoraged (sp) when she was a couple of months and she was a bad bleeder we had to watch everything carefully as if she bumped herself to hard she could bleed internally very easily, she would have 15 or more blood noses everyday (sorry that another story) anyway they told me that the muscles in her legs were very weak and she probably wouldn't walk till she was about 2 but she walked at 9 months and hasn't slowed down since. My eldest daughter toilet trained my youngest when she was 18 months old (they were very close and she did everything her sis told her to) so they made my life really easy at those stages.
