Has anyone else been having trouble buying Nan2 Formula? I live in Brisbane and none of my local shops or chemists have it at the moment. Very strange.

I dont use it, but I noticed yesterday whilst passing through coles (Woodridge, QLD), that it was a discontinued line (had a little sign :ecomcity: )....they could possibly be repackaging it, or changing it slightly.....other than that not sure sorry

Thanks for that - no signs at our local shops and no info on the website!

My DS used to take Nan 1 HA Gold then Nan 2 HA Gold (he is now on full cream milk though) and I used to have such difficulty finding it. If a chemist or a supermarket had it, they would only have 2-3 cans of it so naturally, I stocked up a lot! It was so good for my bub though so I was always on the look out.

You can always order from your chemist. I've done that a few times. Sometimes, it takes a day to 3 days to get it in though so make sure you order well way before you run out. And it is also more expensive when you order it in.

My chemist JUST got some more in. They have repackaged it, it's now got a silver lid and called Step 2 Gold. The two different step 2 formulas from Nan are HA Gold and Gold (which is essentially the same as the old step 2). It should be the same price as the old step 2 regular too.

They should start to filter into shops and supermarkets from now on. Toys r us usually have a good supply if you've got a store near you.

I use the Nan 1HA Gold and it has recently been added with the vitamin supplement probiotic BL bifidus (apparently). All I know is that the 1HA Gold range has gone from $17.99 to $21.99 since this has happened.

Thanks for your replies. Just to let you know, I actually contacted Nestle and they have said that they are no longer making Nan 2 - its now called Nan 2 Gold and whereas Nan 2 used to cost me about $17, Nan 2 Gold now costs about $20! So if you see it on special, snap it up!!

Dont forget to check out discount chemist stores.....I always buy my sons formula from one in Marsden........and save on average $5.00, some times its not worth going out of the way, as you dont end up saving money, but remember to keep an eye out cos if you're passing one....then its not out of the way:detective:
