Holy %$# that hurt...

DS just bit me so hard while breastfeeding. Oh my god it really hurt.

How do yo ustop them doing this? He only has his bottom 2 teeth but used to gum my nipple when he was a newborn so he has done this before if you know what I mean.

I don't want to wean him as he is only 4 months old.

Any advice...please ?

Step #1 - YELP!
Step #2 - Put baby on floor
Step #3 - Say "no biting"
Step #4 - Don't recommence feed for at last 5 minutes.

This worked for us.

Also they only bite when they're not interested anymore, so keep a close eye on their sucking/swallowing.

Putting him straight down on the floor worked for us.
