Anyone out there got one and what do you think?
and also has anyone bought one from the US and have any problems with delivery etc?
I have one and I love it. I think it's a great pram, with heaps of positive points and not very many negatives. My friends are envious that all I have to do to fold it up is lift a strap. I will be selling mine when number two comes along because they have just brought out the Baby Jogger City Select :smiliedance: Now that pram looks awesome!

there is a toddler seat that attaches to the city elite and a buggy board
i decided not to buy from the US cos obviously if there are problems i'd have to send it back there (don't i feel stupid!) so i''ve put one on a longer layby!

my friend has one and doesn't really like it - she was going to buy another pram but decided to buy some of the accessories and persist with it :)

I have the Baby Jioger City Mini twin. IMO it is absolutely the best pram invented in the world, ever.
:D
FIL bought it for us in San Fransisco when he was there last year because we'd found out that they are half the price in the US and he was going.
It's seriously the best pram ever and the fold-up mechanism just never, ever gets old for me. Haha - I'm like a kid with a new toy with that!!
I bought the City Select from the US. Purchase and delivery was a dream.

Let me go have a look and get back to you. What a drag, is it possible they've overlooked you? Can you give them a call?

lol i feel like im bugging them with the amount of emails i have sent them lol i will go find the number and try giving them a call i think. will have to check the timezones though ;)

Yeah I know there is a toddler seat & buggy board, but I would much rather another proper seat which lays down to almost flat, so that both babies can sleep if tired - I often see very young toddlers in toddler seats almost asleep with their necks at awkward angles, it must be so uncomfortable for them when they get tired :(

this has always been a concern for me too but we're not planning another bub until 2012 and i figure i can have newborn in a sling and older child laying in pram.
Blessed with blue: there is a promotion on pramwarehouse com au this weekend 20% off

Ahh ok :D We're having ours pretty close (hopefully!), that's why it's a concern of mine. Otherwise the sling and pram combo is a great idea

I have the city mini jogger (single) and I love it too...
So easy to fold and unfold (with one hand which is handy) and light and easy to maneouver. I had it since he was a newborn and it lays flat so he slept really well and comfortably in it. The only flaw with that one is the straps.
I'll definately look at this brand again for a twin pram, the new one looks awesome on the us website.

Yep - the straps really suck and are REALLY annoying.
But apart from that, still the best pram ever!!

I looooove my city elite :) got the bassinette attachment for when bubs was born and was fantastic! Kept strangers from looking in..and its nice and high which is fab for hubby coz hes so tall and it folds up so quick and easy.
when it folds is it likely to fit in a kia rio boot? We have a big car but mum has a rio so would be good if i chose something that would fit in her car as well.
and if you got it from US how much cheaper is it when you factor in shipping?

hi girls just a quick update...i decided not to buy it now but to wait a little longer and good thing i did cos there is the 2010 model due in stores mid - late april which has a dome shaped basket which makes it a little bigger, fowm filled tyres (whatever that means) and the brake is on the handle. same price though.
NEEKY: i have a holden astra hatch which has a medium sized boot. We needed to take one wheel off to fit in my boot but its easy enough to do.
