Electric Pump

Is it true that electric pumps can get out more milk than a manual pump? Are they faster than manual?

Does anyone here have the electric pigeon pump? Is it any good? Apparently it can be converted to a double pump, have you done this? How?

Personally, I found the manual pump got much more milk out than the electric one.
Both of mine are Medela pumps.

I had an Avent Isis

I found it was great to be able to select if I wanted to use manual or electric.

I tried using the hospital's (where I work) double Medela pump the other day and found it AWFUL! Took me 40 minutes to get 50 mls so I vowed not to try again and just brought my manual Avent Isis to work the next day... 120mls in 15mins. :yes:
