How old is your bub?

My DD is 4.5 months old and up untill about a month ago she slept with a lamp on because I was up for 2 night feeds and I needed to see.

Since she has started sleeping through i turn the lamp off once she asleep and it doesnt seem to bother her at all

The only persons night vision it will effect is your (when you go from the light into a dark room) babies sleep in varying amounts of light all the time so how is a night light any different.

I would suggest that perhaps turning it on when you need to check on bubs might be better but only because light when sleeping can interupt the sleep quality - but that is the same for you and your DH as well as bubs - I read somewhere that even a clock radio can mess up the deepness (is that a word) of sleep you go into with a light on.

Oh and my Ds tummy slept from the word go and walways slept far better that way than on his back so if tummy sleeping works for bubs run with it.
