Hi to you all,

I wanted to start this thread, Im sure you have all heard about the chinese gender chart, well I have been given this conversion chart from an old chinese lady, apparently the conversions on the internet are not accurate:no: 'supposedly'

So I want to see if this works, if you can tell me your date of birth and the date you conceived, I can tell you wether its going to be a boy or a girl.

Also you dont have to be pregnant for this, if you've had children and you can remember the date you conceived, lets see if this conversion worked for you.

Lets see how accurate this is, shall we??

Hey ladies I have just found a webpage that is doing the same calculations as Im doing it is www.chinesegenderchart.info/lunar-month-express.php (http://www.chinesegenderchart.info/lunar-month-express.php) and just press cancel to the language pack, its a little pop up. Now remeber if you concieve in the first or last ten days of that month it can sway either way, it tells you all about it anyway. So do it yourself and let me know, if it works for you.

Hi pg it makes it difficult if you dont know the exact date you conceived, yeah I know how many of us know exactly when??

So going by the date your due, If you conceived before Oct 17, 09 its a boy, if you conceived after after Oct 18 its a girl.

So going by the date your due, If you conceived before Oct 17, 09 its a boy, if you conceived after after Oct 18 its a girl.

I strongly believe its a boy! but my Ultrasound lady said girl .. however she didnt even look properly and didnt point out any lines or anything like that .. so me not happy with her conclusion .. but i rekon its a boy! will be asking at the next Ultrasound . a different place this time .. heheh !THANKS HEAPS for looking !

I tried Miss Sixx's link and it give the same answer as yours (well for me), so they might be the same/or similar charts.

I don't know. I don't know the exact date my first bub was conceived so I couldn't work it out. And its telling me that this bub is going to be a girl but I don't know the sex yet. So I guess I'm not much help am I? :)

Your a scorpio like me and we can become a little obsessive at times a bit too hard on ourselves. I wish this gendersway didnt exist it just plays on your mind. Im going to scrap this chinese calendar in the bin and thats one less thing i need to worry about.

I hope you do get your little girl, and if you dont well it wasnt meant to be & Im sure he will be gorgeous :thumbsup: thats how Im going to look at it from now on.

Yes, you're right. I can get a little obsessive too, and I'm pretty sure that even if I did the gender sway, part of me would be thinking 'Oh, I should have tried to conceive during the new moon to increase my chances of having a girl. Or I should have put a water feature next to the bed..' etc etc. In that respect I'm kinda glad that I'm already pregnant because it means I don't have to fixate on those things. Its out of my hands now.

nooooooooooooo :laughing:. i have had mixed ones on the gender tests. the adjusted Chinese calender on one site said girl while the unadjusted has been saying boy. lol. not long to go now.

I would like to say thank you to all of you for replying, much apprecited.

I would like to share my thoughts on this, I now truly believe that our children are already chosen for us, so no matter what we try to do to gendersway it will make no difference.

As you all know I have 2 girls 7 and 5 and yes I'll be honest I would love to get a boy next time, BUT in saying that if Im blessed with another girl I wont be disappointed as I know I was the one chosen to be her mother.

The Chinese Gender Chart is fun to do :smiliedance:and we can all keep using it, but lets just say Im not going to hold my breath if you know what I mean. Cheers to you all:wave:

We actually tried to sway towards a girl - timing, diet, etc...only because we have one and three boys...would be happy with a boy too, of course....so it will be interesting to see.
