Hi all,
My 17 week old DS has had bright green poos for the last week and I have only just found out that could be a sign that something's not right. I've always heard BF babies can have a whole range of poo colours and textures (sorry TMI!) but I didn't know that was only for the first 4 weeks.
I've looked in up on the net and have seen it could be a sympton of rotavirus or dehydration and now I'm a bit concerned?
He seems totally fine and doesn't have a temp, so could he have the virus with no other symptoms? In regards to dehydration, he is totally BF and doesn't seem hungry so I don't see how he could be not getting enough. He does plenty of wet nappies and is putting on weight. He can often go up to 6 hours in the day without looking for a feed but is still feeding at night and on demand.
Anyway, I'll take him to the Dr tomorrow to get it checked out but I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and what the cause was.
Thanks for the replies.
