**bump**
:)
I found the Kotex maternity pads really good. I also used Libra but I prefer Kotex.
I used a combination-Libra maternity pads with wings towards the back and a cheaper one to the front, so 2 pads at once to get mass coverage.
Also the mw's gave me some gauze type pads to use on top of the mat. pads for the first few days as I was a heavy bleeder.
I have heard of some mums using 'Depends' incontinence underwear coupled with a maternity pad too.
Kotex maternity pads were good
i would use one of them plus a regular kotex pad for extra coverage
I used Kotex with DD and they were good.

I was also a very heaver bleeder and found that all I could get to work was 3 x Libra Maternity Pads with wings was all that would work for me. IT was VERY bulky and uncomfortable, but it was all that would work. :(
I would be interested to hear what others used to stop for leaking through!
well being naive and dumb i didnt realise that maternity pads came in different thicknesses and i brought libra ones but didnt realise until in hospital that they were ultra thins.
i bleed heaps so i would put one of those on then i used the hospital pads. i would have three over lapping each other going down then i would have two going across at the back. blood still seemed to sep out so then i used the thing that you sit on when you have an internal you know with the plastic backing. i tucked that into the outside of my knickers so the plastic is facing out and wella. no more bleeding out.
then as soon as we got home dp went and got me some stayfree pads they were great.
so this time i will be taking stayfree pads in and i am contemplating those nappies as tbh i would rather be uncomfortable then to bleed through when i have visitors come and see me.
I used kotex and because I was paranoid I also put another underneath it of either another maternity one or a regular pad.

To be honest i bought Libra maternity pads and the thick Goodnight pads and I couldnt tell the difference.
I didnt bleed much but. I only used 1 pack of maternity pads and 1 pack of Goodnights then I went back to normal pads

I'd go the incontinence undies with kotex mat pads, personally. I didn't have heavy bleeding, it just went on and on and on... but I drank a ton of water so was up every 10 mins to use the loo, maybe it just seemed like it wasn't too bad? I used kotex in hospy most of the time, libra afterwards. I prefer the libra's, but needed the kotex during my *heavier times* lol
I used Kotex, they worked well for me :) After about four days though, I just used super pads.
