Can anyone tell me what it's like, how much it roughly costs, if it's worth it? I'm thinking of enrolling 1yo DD. She's not walking yet but from what I can gather from the website I think she'd benefit from it as she doesn't have much interaction with kids her age and isn't involved in any structured activity.

TIA :)

Hello, I enrolled DS when he was about 4-5 months. From memory it was about $155 for the term. we didn't end up going to the last few sessions as the time did t really suit us.

I dunno if I would recommend it... We pretty much did a quick group activity, went off and did our own things then finished with a group activity again and it only went for 45 mins I think.

If there's a playgroup near u I'd probably join up there instead as it's cheaper and your child would still do activities and have other children to interact with.

I hope more people respond, I want to join DS aswell.
I did it as a little kid and mum said i loved it.

I think they have a philosophy that the activitys they do with the certain age groups helps the kids brain devolopment.

My DS loves climbing and I remember the fantastic obstacle courses they had there when i was young and I know DS would love it.

I took DS and ended up not finishing the term. We both hated it. It was an utter waste of money. My opinion only and I'm sure others disagree.

DD has been going to Gymbaroo since she was 4 months old. We love it! The lessons for 6 weeks - 6 months are $10 per week and last for 30 minutes. The lessons for 6 - 12 months and 1 - 2 years are $15 per week and last for 45 minutes.

I honestly believe it has helped with her muscle development, fine motor skills and also socialisation skills. PM me if you would like some more information.

We are going for fun only. The propoganda re reaching 'full potential' gymbaroo kids are advanced etc really annoys me. But, f does seem to like it. Is $210 for the term at ours. As soon as he is old enough (1 now) we will swap to regulation kindy gym.

We did gymbaroo up until DS started to crawl and then it was too much of a battle.

Going to try our local kindy gym tomorrow morning as it's just $4 and you pay as you go.

Our local one is 1-5 years, though I'm not too sure what there will be for the younger end. In fact I'm not sure of what to expect at all!

Thanks everyone, think I'll try to find a playgroup or something cheaper though :)
