Ok so we all. in theory, are saving money by using cloth. The question is, do you get into trouble off your other half over the "addiction?"

 Not yet. I am only new in this addiction though. Mind you dh did say to me the other night after I ordered $430 worth of green kids, " I bet when their new funtimes come in you'll buy them!!"
He's probably right!! LOL!!

OK, now your in trouble. I'll blame you when DH see's that i've ordered some already
I can justify buying more nappies as I go onto my DH about the incredible amount we are saving by me making my own inserts. Which is true, but probably not a reason to buy more nappies. It is so hard right now, it is the first time in ages I'm not waiting on Fluffy mail.:(
On the upside, I am so very, very pleased with myself. I have made the most perfect microfibre insert you have ever seen! I hate it when they don't fit the nappy properly (I have a few older Greens that are a touch smaller), so the one I have made up is just perfect.:smiliedance:

Might get in a bit of trouble if Dh finds out I got a dreamytime tonight :o
No because my nappy stash is very basic...just enough for what we need and mainly boring neutral colours (so they can be used on the next bub). I'd love to go crazy but we don't have the $$$ so that restricts me.
I just ordered 2 rosy anytimes yesterday (the white wasn't in stock when I purchased them, of course they are now but I prefer the colours but dbf doesn't know we're getting gender specific nappies coming!) for DD to use overnight now that she's leaking of a night in her fuzzi bunz.
I went and bought a peapod to try (I know they don't get great reviews here but they are pretty cheap, there is a stockist near by, and the greens are for night time) and it is too big for DD so it will be a while before I am getting any more fluffy mail coming :(
At least I'm getting to enjoy using cloth, even if my stash isn't very show offy!

Hubby knows i love to shop and he knows I like a bargain so I don't think he will be too suprised.
I tell him that ppl pay a lot for soakers and longies so he is impressed i can knit my own.
I am still getting the nerve up to suggest converting to cloth.
I don't think he will be unhappy as I will be paying for them - he pays for nappies and groceries, I pay for clothes so i think he will argue that mcn is clothing, don't you think?....
