5 months for me.

Feb. I don't think I o the first month due to pill not being out of my system
Mar/ apr. I was using the shettles method (to get a girl). But in hind site it made me miss the egg compleatly 2 times. So I gave that up.
May. I am pritty sure something like a cemical preg happend this month.
June. nothing (getting sad about it to)
July. BFP!

I tried so many diferent crackpot things, morning bd, bd every day, then bd every 2nd day, bd like rabbits:D
Staying still for 30 min after bd with pillow under bum.
Vitex and other potions.
Temp (I found this good)
Cm (didn't work for me)
Foods to make me acidic, then foods to make me alcoline (sp?). I could go on.............:ecomcity:

6 months for me. The cycle I conceived was my first using OPK's, taking Vitex and I had started an exercise program :) So I did heaps differently. If I was to put it down to one thing though it would def be the OPK's. Showed we had been missing the 'right' time every single time!

First go for us :D

I was taking elevit, vitex and drinking grapefruit juice as I'd heard it increased CM (and it did for me ;) ). DH was taking a male vitamin supplement and extra zinc. Oh and we made like rabbits

First go for us as well! :D

I did a complete overhaul of my health & diet, was taking Blackmore's Preg tablets, using BT and Maybe Baby to predict the 'right time'. Oh - and BD everyday! (With legs in the air some days to encourage the right thing to happen )

With DD we were discussing having a baby and both wanted one but we kept thinking that maybe we should wait until we were older (I was almost 22, DBF was 24) and one night we decided to just see what happened. DBF left to go on a business trip (so no more baby dancing!) and when he came back I showed him my BFP!

We've been ttc # 2 since DD was 6 months old with no luck. I'm still bf'ing and my cycles are short and irregular. We try to have sex every 2nd day but have missed the odd day here and there when life has gotten too busy, I used OPK's one cycle to try and find out if I'm ovulating...I almost got a positive but not quite so not sure if I'm not ovulating or the OPK's just missed it. We're going to try to have sex every day this cycle cause after this cycle (or maybe one more depending on how short this one is) I don't want to try until November cause m/s knocked me around with DD and I don't want to be sick for her 1st birthday.

First baby took about 4 months. Second took 2 1/2 years, I had no periods. I started taking something called New Phase, it has black cohosh and soy isoflavins in it. I had a period 3 months after taking it and was pregnant 3 cycles later. So it kind of took 3 cycles because the 2 years before this I had no ovulation to go on. Been trying 2 cycles this time with no sucess yet. I am positive this will be my month!:fingerscrossed:

10 months. Nothing physically different - but did have DHs spermies tested around this time (they were OK) and so started thinking maybe there was something wrong with me - so I think I wasn't expecting it to happen.

got the go ahead in March from DP.
Ovulated once without realising.. didn't get PG that time.
Then got PG the second time I ovulated. So two very long cycles for me.

Not bad for a 34 + 42 yr old.

Was taking macca powder (flushed the vitex).
Green tea and grapefruit juice.

2 cysles for me with #1 and this time we have been TTC for 5 months - heading into our 6th month.

The only differenece is that last time we weren't actively trying. We had just decided to put it of until after our wedding!

I did suggest to DH the other day that maybe we should have a quicky divorce, get re-engaged and then plan another wedding so we can fall pregnant by accident again when i'm distracted!

I have 2 answers to this question..

It took us 5 years to finally fall pregnant (found out hubby is infertile :crying: )

But after we started art. insemination it was successful on the third attempt, which was pretty quick really :smiliedance:

DH and I had been sort of trying for approx 6 months. Can't help but think it was meant to be though as found out on day FIL passed away. Had tried from jan and had few false starts then fell PG in june. Don't even know why I took the test on that day as wasn't even late yet. Just did it on a whim and got our BFP:D . Found out later that morning that the time I was taking test was pretty much when FIL passed away. Had confirmed by the doc a few days later on day of FIL funeral so was kind of bittersweet:).
We hadn't really done much different although we where a little smarter with the BD and just went every 2nd day for whole cycle. Didn't really leave room to miss ovulation that way and they reckon it's better for DH's little guys to build up for a day in between:laughing:.

i went off the pill in Feb of this year and on 26th may i found out i was 5 weeks preg, no assistance needed. very quick and easy, even though i was expecting it to take at least 3 - 6 months. we just did it when i thought i was fertile and ovulating.

First cycle was 28 days after coming off the pill.

Second cycle was 43 days - very long cycle :banghead:

Third cycle I got a BFP on 30 July 06 :smiliedance: .

I have been taking elevit pregnancy multivitamin & avoiding alcohol. I don't smoke and I have been trying to eat healthy, losts of veges etc.

I think the moment you stop stressing and let your hair down, it happens LOL  .

Hi Livy, I got a BFP the first time we tried too- this is what I did...

Went off the pill 6 mths before trying so my body was 'back to normal'
Stopped eating all junkfood- was very healthy
Excercised a lot (just walking)
Took pregnancy vitamins daily from one month before trying
BD'd every second day a week before O and again on O day
Stayed in bed with my legs in the air for 10 mins after every BD
AND hard to do, but really tried no to think about it until it was time to test.

I hope some of this stuff works for you :fingerscrossed: Good luck!

I got pregnant on the fourth cycle this time around.
The only thing we did different was bd'ing right through ovulation til a few days after i ovulated and i got my bfp at 17 dpo.

Throughout ttc for this pregnancy though i was taking supplements that are supposedly meant to increase the chances of having a girl. Wasn't sure if it would work but i was willing to give it a go but won't find out if it worked til September though lol.

With #1 it took 2 months and with #2 it took 3 months.

Um, no time! We weren't trying to get pregnant, but were a bit naughty (I know the exact incident that caused it!!) and along came DS1!! I am hoping its that easy this time round!!

With DS we got pregnant within the first month of trying, we were BD almost everyday and I'd use a pillow under my hips afterwards.

Now we've been TTC for 4 months with no success, I have long cycles now so its about 6/7 weeks a cycle, we don't BD nearly as much but I'm timing it more to my fertile time (I hope), I'm using vitex, evening primrose oil, OPK's, BBT, Maybebaby and stressing A LOT more about it  hopefully somethibng that I'm doing will work soon.
