1st birthday party ideas??

hi, my son is one in a couple of months and we want to have a theme 1st birthday party for him but i am wanting ideas of different themes?? anyone know of any

For their 1st birthday they arent going to remember it, so its all about the photos!!

I gave my daughter a fairy theme for her first birthday,and I dressed up as a fairy (nice skirt, top and wings) and she had a set of fairy wings which she wore. the photos look great, but of course she doesnt remember it

for a boy you could do something simple and easy, like a train theme. You could find him some overalls and a little train driver looking hat that he could wear, so he looks like a driver, with a train cake.
theres lots of train stuff around, liek thomas table cloths and things so your plates and cups and stuff can have trains on them, and a train cake.,. I made my nephew a train cake, was really easy

other boy themes could be dinosaurs? I made a great dinosaur cake for my nephews 3rd birthday, with little 'nest' cupcakes , they were a great hit.

like i said its only about the photos as he wont remember the party itself... good luck

What about a coloured theme, say have everything red?

Or Polka Dots?

Or everyone comes dressed as something that starts with the first letter of his name?
