help !!! when is it going to come

hi all,

i am just in the phase of waiting for my af to return after a mc last month its driving me crazy as for the first time i really want it here i feel like its gone,

does it really drive others crazy that it yet hasnt come back, its been 4 weeks today since the mc so i thought by now it would be back as i was only 6 weeks no complications or d&c

how long did you have to wait for af to return?

Hi, with both of my miscarriages my AF came back as normal, within 4 weeks i have a 28 day cycle. I also had no D&C for either and was no more than 6 weeks.

Hey same here, i keep telling DH i can't wait for it to come back (he thinks i'm a little weird wanting it back ...hehe)
Do you know if you have ovulated yet?
Im sure i ovulated 13 days after the d/c and that should make mon/tue AF time. I keep running to the toilet to check incase it comes early...hehe
I'm so anxious and so excited for it to return.
I'm guessing your waiting to start ttc as well?

yeah dh just laughs saying usually you dont want it to come now you do.

not sure if i ovulated or not as i have never been able to follow my cycles and stuff its all just guess work for me so cant say yes or no to that:confused:

I had a D&C on 30th May so over 9 weeks now and I still don't have AF.

I went back to the hospital last week (they said it can take up to 8 weeks). They did an internal scan and found that the lining of my uterus had not started growing back yet so that's why AF hasn't returned.

Doc just said to wait and it will rear it's ugly head when I least expect it.

I got to the point where I thought I was actually p/g again but they cleared that too with the scan, competely empty uterus (that was a relief to hear let me tell you), we've decided we're not ttc'ing any more, I've had 2 m/cs in 13 mths and just don't want to be that sick anymore.

I wish you all the best with ttc'ing and hope AF returns for you soon. But don't panic, it is normal for it to take up to 8 weeks (according to my doc anyway)

My period should be coming in about 2/3 weeks so I can answer this then. But hoping it doesn't come :fingerscrossed:

My AF returned 24 days after the D & C. OH im sooo excited!!!
Though we were staying at a beautifu resort for my sisters wedding when it appeared. Though as the drs said when you least expect it! I was so excited i told all the females in my immediate family:laughing:.

Maybe go and see your doctor to get checked over? even if it's just for peace of mind.
I hope it comes soon for you so you can get back to some normailty. So sorry to hear about your m/c :hugs:

It took eight weeks for my AF to return. And then my next few cycles after were all quite long too!!

very frustrating:banghead: Do You have a follow up appointment from the d and c? YOu could ask them, they may do another internal u/s to check everything.

adria, i didnt have to have a d&c as it was natural so no appointment, but im guessing if its still not here next week ill go to the docs for a check up

I had a natural M/C 15 june and AF came 5-6wks after

Hi all,

I had a D&C after m/c at 8 weeks and AF came back 6 weeks later. Did acupuncture and used hot water bottle so dont know if that helped.

For those waiting, hope it is not too long.
