Hi everyone

I am interested in putting my eldests name on a waiting list for a day at daycare and am wondering if people can either recommend ones in the Western Suburbs (we are in the Gap but happy to travel) or tell me ones with bad reps. ( I know alot is personal choice)

Thanks for your help - not really looking forward to it :( but I really need to get a break.

Hi Melanie,

Grace goes to ABC Trout St, Ashgrove (the street Blockbuster Video is on). She loves it there and all the staff are great...the girls in the nursery are fantastic. They are reorganising their books for next year at the moment. Kylie is the Director Ph 33665018.

You can try the cubbyhouse (I think thats the name) next to Payne Rd primary school, but when I put graces name down they said their list was very long, but no harm in trying.

There is the Woods at St john's wood, even though the staff seemed nice when I visisted there, a family friend said the staff were too young and inpatient.

I also looked into family day care, and a new daycare is supposed to be starting on Settlement Rd next to Trish Hollanby's swim school (opp Regis Nursing home). I don't know if the plans have been approved by council yet.

Hope that helps.

ps see you tuesday
