Hi there,
Well I am new to bubhub and this discussion area caught my eye.

I gave birth to our beautiful son Theodore 4 weeks ago (I also have a 16 month old, Annabelle - busy, busy, busy!) and I have come to the realisation that I no longer wish to work in a job that is 'meh' and I'd really love the freedom to be a work at home mum.

And in the same thought, I realised that I would need to take control if I wanted to realise this dream. So, I have decided that I am going to try and start my own online business from scratch. With no experience, and no ideas (yet!)... I am still determined.

I have just joined the wonderful world of blogging and plan on blogging my progress - so no hiding from my goal now! :)

I look forward to chatting and learning from other mums who work at home or who are starting out as well.

Cheers,
Emma

Hi there,:D
I've beena member of bubhub since 2008 however have not been on here for quite some time after returning to full time work and have researched so many avenues working from home and none have really caught my eye and all just seem to be one scam after the other. Would be really interested in reading your journey though! Where exactly do I locate you blog??

Well it has been 25 days since I decided to start working towards the goal of becoming a WAHM and I cannot believe how much work I have managed to get done towards the dream of starting my own business. I have an idea at least now anyway! ha!

Sorry it was not my intention to 'self-promote' my blog. It is against the rules for me to post the link but I look forward to chatting with you more on the forums.

Sorry guys, I wasn't ignoring your question on where to find the link. My answer was removed as even though you asked, it is against the rules to provide on the forums. Sorry again.

If you are confused, you can find all the rules HERE (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/showthread.php?p=3982055).

Unfortunately too many people take advantage and use the forum as a free advertising platform, so therefore the rules are put in place to cover all members and saves everyone from being spammed.

Aw, would have loved to have followed your progress. Something I really want to do but am a little scared of 'taking that jump' and also not sure on where to start! :(

Well done.. I am in the process of setting up a business I can run from home so hopefully I can have babies next yr..

It is such a challenge, but life is short and babies grow quick

I wish you all luck in the world and determination to realise your dream... how inspiring!!!!

Thanks ladies! best of luck with your goals too.

Yeah, I was like that -not sure where to start, so basically I am in the process of doing lots of research to find out the answers to all of my questions. Nowhere near actually starting a business yet but feel like I am learning heaps and getting a little closer the more I learn.

Look forward to chatting with you more on the forums.:)
