Hi All,

So df has said for me to go out with $1,100 and spend it on stuff for me, ds, dd and himself and bits and pieces for the house.

the thing is i dont know what to spend on the house as we are renting as i dont want to get things that match this house as we are moving in a few months.

Does anyone have any ideas what to spend on house as in house hold items??

thanks

Things that make storage easier. We always have problems here with storage.

New dining set?
new kitchen appliances?
Lots of matching photo frames to go through the house?
Fish tank?

Do the kids need clothing for winter coming up?
Do YOU need clothing?
Does DH need clothing?
Shoes?
Jackets?
Bedding?
Kitchen utensils?
Bath/Toilet mats?
Make up for yourself?
A new hair do or colour?
Nails done?
Haircuts for the kids?

The list is endless!!!

That sounds like fun!

I know what I'd be buying with money like that...Jasper a cubby house, and a rocking thomas the tank engine, and a little table and chairs, balls for a ball pit (which was his swimming pool, but now its getting cooler it needs a new purpose) and a plastic slide.......

(I was in toys'r'us today making a mental shoppng list of things I cant afford, but would love to buy :o)

I'm worse than any child could possibly be in toys'r'us.

So... I know what I'd be doing with that kind of money :o

More practically, how about a nice dinner set, or glasses? a fancy dinner setting makes even meat and three veg look fancy. And orange juice in a pretty champagne glass (or, ya know, champagne ;))

Why not just bank it til you actually need something.

Hmmm, I like your thinking....

Was kinda thinkin the same thing.... that would go in my "rainy day fund" (maybe after I have spent a little on the kids):D
