my 1st day of my course :D

my job network person rang around and found out that certificate 3 was about to start at a local adult training place and he asked if i was intrested and i said yes :D and then my job network place paid for it and now i have school 3 days a week hehehe
there was no selection criteria process like most tafes have. we did a basic literacy and numercy test today to see if we need special help but thats all.

i had to take yesturday off coz cody reacted to something we dont know what yet. so i went today and was wondering where the hell is everyone??? lol :confused: so i amde myself a coffee thinking maybe we start a bit later today. then i wander down to the recpetion...ask where is everyone she says" didnt they tell you not to come today coz we havent got a teacher for fridays yet?":o i was so embarrssed. lol so i had to ring DP to come get me and he had just got hoem from dropping me off lol

at the moment we have just started a unit called caring for children we were sposed to finish that unit yesturday but i was away lol

when i have assingments i will coem and pester everyone who ahs doen cert 3 lol

did you have to get a poilce check before the work placement or did you already have one? i am sending off my police check form on tuesday and i have heard it can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 7 weeks to get it back:confused:

i had to have my police check... i didn't have one... :) being a secretary didn't require one hehehe.... new law coming in soon though that we need a national check, well anybody working with kids do.. i think ours needs to be done in the time bracket of half way through next year (child care workers) I believe it is $70

yeah thats the new working with kids card that i have seen advertised in the paper. i just have to get the $30 police check for my work placement my trainer said :) but i dunno what i will do if it hasnt come back by end of novemeber lol
