Hi Ladies

Can any of you recommend a good sling? I have a 6 month old who only really sleeps during the day if cuddling with me so i figure a sling is the best option - at least then I can move about. Whats the best most comfy style?

Thanks

"sling style" i would go with a ring sling (i'm not up to date with the different brands), but that is the model that i personally find comfiest.

if your more looking at a wrap (especially if you want to just stick her on your back so you can do things without her being kinda in the way), i would recommend a woven style wrap (ie. the ellaroo, which i have heard good things about), or the ergo  (although the ergo is also very useful going out and about, but i have used it to settle babies down in the house as well).

At that age, I'd be going for an Ergo or a Mei Tai. They'll last you the distance, are ergonomically designed for both you and your bub, won't cause you dramas etc.

For ease of use, an Ergo is ideal. For pretty patterns (and not much harder to use!) a Mei tai is good.

There are some mei tei's selling for $27.90 plus postage on Ebay ATM. I ordered one for a friend (who's due to have a baby very soon) and just got it the other day. It looks really good. $35 odd dollars for a sling is a bargain!

ETA: I don't have ANY affiliation with that ebay seller or the slings. :)

Ditto to this, except I use a Yamo, which is similar to the Ergo. It's a brilliant little thing.

 I was going to say the same thing - go the ergo! My DS at 23 months decided he likes it again, at 13kg. He stopped liking it while I was pregnant, and now that he's seen his little sister loving it, he's decided to jump back in  :D Love my baby wearing family :goodvibes:

We use ring slings. All different brands. Still carry my DD who just turned 2.
