Hi all,
so My 9 month old is currently have 2 good bf and 1 where she is on and off within 2 mins,
She has a decent 7am and a decent 6.30pm feed, I am still feeding her at 11am but she doesn't seem interest. Should i keep feeding her at 11am or drop that as well?
is 2 bf enough for a 9 month old?
She has cows milk on her bfast and some dairy at 3pm.

Im not seeing my mchn for a few weeks!

My DS (10 months) has 5 breastfeeds a day, but he is a real boobie addict, and would just live on breastmilk if I let him.
My CHN said he only needs 3 breastfeeds a day now, but should be having 3 serves of dairy too.
I would continue to offer the 11am bf, but not get too worried if she refuses it. Would also up the dairy to 3 serves. My CHN suggested custard, which I never would have thought of, DS loves it!

:iagree:
I would keep offering it & ensure that you are giving her dairy (yoghurt, cheese sticks, etc) during the day in meals/snacks.
At that age, my DD started to reduce her feeds herself. Some days I struggled to get her to have 3 good feeds. I just kept offering it.
At that age, DD had just started crawling & suddenly the world is alot more interesting to them. Some days she just couldn't sit still for the 10min it would take for a feed & just wanted to be on the move all the time!
Now she's 12mths & usually I can only get her to have 1 feed a day, sometimes 2 (& that's usually only when she's sleepy)
