with poo of course. Lots and lots of it. We're now on day 5 of diarrhea and I'm definitely tired of the stink and mess. Fingers crossed it starts clearing soon :fingerscrossed: . We've been to the dr this morning to check if it's bacterial.
This is mainly a pity post because I'm feeling very sorry for myself. But has anyone else had diarrhea and done all the right things, but still had it last so long?
Oh Martha!! How difficult.
This is a pity post, I have nothing to offer except my sympathy.

oh Aijent :( You definitely have it much worse than me. I was actually quite glad that DD hasn't been potty trained, I'd rather have a diaper that leaks a bit than a trail down the hall as she races for the toilet :barf:

i give you all my sympathy :hugs: i remember how bad my DS had the runs when he had gastro over easter :( nasty it was. now he only gets it when he has had dairy or soy which is pretty much never :D
i hope it clears up soon :fingerscrossed:
I live a new life of Runny Poo at the moment Martha!
While I know, it's not the same thing, I do sympathise with the mess to clean up with each change of nappy.....

Having just had to change DD in the bath! - I am full of sympathy:hugs: and I'm also totaly over poo......
Another pity post here Martha :hugs:
Nothing really to offer in the way of advice, because I know you would be doing all the usual things to try and get rid of it, so just wanted to say I truly do sympathise :(
Good luck at the doctor tomorrow, have you got her those electrolyte iceblocks? You might want to look into getting her some if she is going into day 6 of poos and spews, hopefully the doc will be able to shed some light on it for you.

I have had a week filled with explosive nappies...up his back, in his pants, down his legs, all over his cot. The shower is my new best friend. And I have one squeaky clean boy! I thought his was orange&poppyseed cake related, but have discovered a whole new level of the meaning "teething nappy"

I have a 15 months old who is in his 4th day so I know where you are coming from! I don't know what to suggest, I wish I did!

It's nice to know I'm in such good company at least!
DD's gut seems to have settled down today. I hope all your sick kids start to feel better soon too :fingerscrossed:
Oh Martha, I'm glad little C is feeling a bit better. :hugs: When Eloise was sick with that gastro a little while back, her runny poo went on for about 2 weeks, going from watery to gradually getting thicker (sorry tmi). Fingers crossed she'll be all better in no time.
