Tiana Hazel was born Friday at 12:21 pm. I was given the gel thursday night but nothing really happened then Friday morning I had my waters broken and given a drip at 7:30am. It took a while for things to get started but they soon did. At about 10am I asked for the epidural because things were just getting too painful and my Ob said to get it sooner rather than later if I was going to have it so that I wouldn't be jumping around the bed when they gave it to me. So while I was waiting for that to all happen I used the gas, weird at first, my head was all weird but it worked weel, made me focus of my breathing rather than contractions. But thats when things started to go wornd. I rolled on my side for the epidural but the babies heartbeat dropped. We tried everything to keep it up while I got the epidural but nothing was working. The baby had become destressed and I was only 1cm dialated when I was whisked away for an emergency caesar. Then what seemed like moments later, my baby was born. The cord was wrapped around her leg and thats what the problem was. Never once thought I would have a caesaren but I got a beautiful baby girl to love now.
