i figure i may have more chance of getting some help here. i did a ph test and its not orange or green. its right in between, a yellowish colour...its neutral. any advice?

im not sure without looking at it i would lead more to the orange side.

i would love twins :laughing:. i asked at the scan if there was only 1 and she made of point of making sure there was.

the strip equates to a ph of 7.0

i put the strip up against the box it comes in and the yellow matches a ph of 7 which is neutral. silly little peanut is not giving anything away. i will have to try with FMU.

the info doesn't say anything about not being able to read it. i may just have to try again till it comes up with something on either side

I am very interested in what you are having, when is your scan, are you finding out!!!!

As you probably know we are expecting our 4th boy in June!

I was going to say twins too, hahaha....JK. I have no idea. I can't WAIT until you have your scan though, to put you out of your misery :hugs: SOOOOO exciting.

Yeah, I'd like to know the answer too. I just did it and it went an orangey green and when I looked at the colour chart it reckons its a PH of 6.

I did a PH test with my last pregnancy ( one I use for the fish tank water lmao):laughing: it came back light yellowy green, for about 6.4, low PH and I had a girl, so the theory was correct for me. I think it's 50/50 chance of being right though:o

I think it depends on what PH level it matches up to. My orangey green one was a PH of 6.

yep, depends ont eh chart you have. that colour for me is a 7. which is what i got...a pale yellow with a hint of green


I did a ph test this morning with FMU & it was a dark green & said it was 6.8 according the the chart. Would that be boy??

looking at my ph chart, thats def a boy colour! if your ph chart says 6.8 then thats very neutral.... 7. is considered neutral, not acidic and not alkaline, smack bang in the middle. i would keep testing with FMU till you get a clearer response

i did a test with FMU the other day and I got orange, a ph of 5.5 so thats a girly colour :goodvibes:

Where do you buy the PH strips from??? Wouldnt mind double checking that they got the gender right at my scan...

it just means you have really neutral urine :laughing: and that's really good anatomy wise. As for your answer, not so sure, I just waited till U/S.

So will FMU still work for me? Isn't the point of using FMU so that the hormones or whatever have time to build up overnight?

My longest gap between pee breaks would be from FMU til afternoon. Maybe I should test then instead?
